Red light cameras or traffic cameras or speed cameras are supposed to deter motorists from jumping red lights and can also be used to catch violators. The intention is laudable. However, in practice they have proved to be more of a pain. Motorists have been issued tickets unjustly and have no recourse but to pay. Some states like New Jersey installed the cameras only to suspend their use and ticketed drivers received a refund. In many places these systems are run by contractors whose sole aim is to increase revenues and in order to do so they tinker with the duration of yellow lights. Will fully or otherwise a driver commits a fault and receives a ticket. This led to a public outrage and outcry with some states like Tennessee prohibiting issue of tickets based on photographic evidence.
FORMAL DRESSES
In short the traffic cameras and their programming are flowed. Until the timing and other issues are corrected, motorists will always become unwilling victims of unjustifiable ticketing and each time they may have to shell out $ 150 by way of fines. The only way to avoid being targeted unjustly is to use license plate photo blockers. Motorists who have installed these on their license plate have reported that they have stopped receiving tickets and have saved a lot of money they would otherwise have spent on paying fines. This is the chief benefit of photo blockers for license plates.
These photo blockers do not actually prevent traffic cameras from snapping photos. What they do is they bend light or create a high glare. Photographs taken by the camera do not show the characters on the license plate and this helps the motorists to some degree because the car and owner cannot be identified. If your license plate cannot be identified you cannot be ticketed. Plus, the driver's privacy is safeguarded. There is no reason why motorists must become victims or targets of the authorities' plans to generate more revenue through questionable means.
Photo blockers made of high quality stabilized transparent acrylic do more than prevent cameras from taking legible snapshots. The plate covers keep the license plate protected against the elements. Mud splatters can be wiped off or hosed down without the fear of damaging the plate or the characters printed thereon. It is easy to remove and reinstall covers but getting a fresh set of license plates is time consuming.
These plate covers are transparent and show the plate clearly when viewed from front in a straight line. Police patrol cars may see your car but with the seamless way the license plate covers blend with the plates, they see no reason to stop or question you. The plates remain like new and should you buy a new car they do not look out of place.

If authorities are out to milk motorists on just about any pretext then it is for motorists to take precautions and avoid falling into their trap. Missouri, Maryland, Texas, Florida and Illinois have the highest number of these traffic cameras. Motorists in these States would do well to have some form of protection from the unwarranted and unjust intrusions of these cameras by the simple expedient of installing photo blocker covers.
